The fans are activated via the built in Stealth Thermal Tracking on each HiFonics amp. When the amps detect that they are about to go into a thermal protect mode, they activate the fan network to avoid shutdown.

Power distribution blocks are placed on the front of the amprack, one of which is in use for the amps, fans, neon, and bass processor, the other being for planned future expansion of the system including motorization and an LCD screen.
10K thumbnail Shown here is the beginning of the process of creating neon lit plexiglass platforms for the HiFonics amps to be mounted to. A 3/4 inch sheet of plexiglass was used. First an outline of the amp was scratched into the surface of the plexiglass. An additional 1/2 inch was added to all outside edges of the outline to allow for rounding with a router bit.
